The narrative follows the visceral, cumulative toll of hair removal — shaving, waxing, plucking, threading, epilating, and lasering. It concludes in a hyperbolic seventh step, using dark humour to externalise the frustration many women (including myself) feel when their bodily autonomy is policed by societal norms.
